Plumbsan (Pty) Ltd was properly incorporated as a trading company during Jully, 1999. It started trading during August of the same year.
Thinus van Niekerk is the managing director and he is assisted by a board of directors that consists of three other executive directors. Between the four the them, they have an extensive background in retailing, that is gained in part from a combined experience of just over fifty years in the plumbing and sanitary ware retail market. The company consist out of a sales, buying and inventory, oprations and an administration division. There are four counter salesmen, which control the sales at the counter as well as the showroom. One person is responsible for the developer / contracting market for corporate sales. The senior buyer of the company is also a director and is in charge of the total stock purchases and control of the company.
Plumbsa operates out of one location where all of the divisions of the business is incorporated. The business is located in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, in an area where there is no shortage of customers. It is also well situated in regards to parking. Plumbsan also jas three drivers for deliveries, so that they can facilitate a 24-hour turn around.
