These mirrors have designs etched into the surface of the glass. They are generally traditional and ornate. This is perfect for romantic bathrooms.

6. Pivot Mirrors

These are mounted to the wall on two hinged pivots. They can tilt up or down. They are slightly more flexible than a simple framed mirrors. Pivot mirrors have a traditional appeal that would fit in well with a classic, subway-tiled bathroom.

These are designed to sit on a counter or tabletop. They are small hinged mirrors that are mounted on a pedestal. They are often double-sided, with a magnifying mirror on one face. They sometimes include built-in lights designed to highlight your face while you apply makeup.

10. Captain’s Mirrors

It is a round mirror hung from a strap. You normally do not see these in bathrooms. It is a striking piece that would look well in powder rooms that blend traditional and modern styles. Some of these can be very expensive, depending on materials and brand name.
